This was one of my favorite oviedo senior portrait sessions! A jazz piano player and some dramatic lighting just seem to be the perfect combo!
Anthony is an absolutely amazing Jazz pianist and an overall well rounded musician. It is something you just need to hear to believe – the kid has got serious skill on the piano so his session had to 100% incorporate the piano in some way. Trying to find a grand piano in a public place that will allow people to do a commercial photo shoot is not an easy task – I called several places and got shut down several times.. But Anthonys mom scored a piano at a local church in Oviedo and they were open to letting us do a quick session in the church and welcomed us with open arms 🙂 It was not the most ideal conditions for a photo session and we had to work hard to get the shots we wanted but we made it work and got some amazing photos that truly bring out the Jazz vibe that Anthony has!
